Inside Pakistan’s first cadet college for girls

MARDAN: The first cadet college for girls was established on August 20, 2017, in the city of Mardan, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

The Girls’ Cadet College Mardan is a revolutionary and unique initiative from the Education Ministry of the government of KP to promote female empowerment for the benefit of national development.

The college, which has 123 cadets, aims to provide quality education with an emphasis on academics excellence, personality building, physical development, religion and the national spirit.
