MADINAH: Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Development Co. has announced 120 scholarships for undergraduate students, for the academic year 2019-2020.
This comes as part of the “Red Sea Development Scholarship Program” held in collaboration with Prince Mugrin bin Abdul Aziz University and the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, one of the oldest hospitality faculties in the world.
Sept. 5 will be the last day for submitting applications, and students wishing to join the program will be able to register on the company’s website: www.trsdc.upm.edu.sa.
The program covers a number of majors required for the launch of the Red Sea Project’s first phase at the end of 2022 and for the completion of the entire development project in 2030.
Extending over four years (and one additional preparative year), the program offers an integral curriculum about the hospitality industry, management theories, and applied business projects, in accordance with Swiss and international standards in the hospitality and tourism fields.
Students will have the opportunity to undergo field training for two semesters, and go through a practical project during the last semester. This will enhance their qualifications in jobs related to what they have studied.
The project will help the students, either directly or indirectly, through its support of private sector companies in the Kingdom.
