Based in London, Joumanna Bercetche is currently the co-anchor of the European edition of CNBC’s Street Signs. She joined CNBC in 2017 after 11 years in banking working as a macro and fixed income specialist for Citigroup, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch in London.
Given her expertise in banking and finance, Bercetche reports live on company earnings and interviews both CFOs and CEOs from across EMEA. She also reports live on key decisions taken by financial institutions across the world, such as the European Central Bank’s and Bank of England’s monetary policy decisions.
She has also covered Italian elections, Spanish Catalunya events, Eurogroup meetings and moderated macroeconomic panels at the annual IMF and OECD conferences.
In 2015, Bercetche started Joumanna.com, a jewelry website showcasing Lebanese designers.
