Elda Choucair has carved a niche for herself as one of the few women in a senior leadership role in the regional advertising industry.

A 15-year veteran at Omnicom Media Group MENA, Choucair has held senior account positions at OMD and PHD, two subsidiary companies of Omnicom, for more than 10 years. Under her leadership, the regional media planning network PHD grew sevenfold and became a key player in the region.

In 2019, Choucair was appointed COO of Omnicom Media Group MENA, which saw her focus heavily on the group’s response to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, further demonstrating her leadership talents. She was promoted to CEO in 2021.

Choucair is also an active industry figure. She serves as vice-chair of the Advertising Business Group, and is a board member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau GCC and the International Advertising Association UAE Chapter. Choucair was a founding board member of the Unstereotype Alliance.
