It tells the story of three friends whose fates are affected by events from the past. David faces a tough choice when Dzika, who was once the love of his life, reappears. Now a police officer, she makes him an offer he cannot refuse: Either he becomes a police informant, she tells him, or his brother will go to prison for a long time. Left with little choice, David agrees to do what Dzika wants and sets out to infiltrate a criminal organization. He discovers that a world from which he tried to escape will try to pull him back in with redoubled strength.
