JEDDAH, 2 January ——  Police in Makkah have arrested a number of gangsters who entered the Kingdom to commit thefts, pick-pocketing and swindling, said Maj. Gen. Saeed ibn Abdullah Al-Qahtani, police director of Makkah region. The arrested criminals will be soon handed over to the Justice Department for further action, Al-Madinah newspaper quoted the official as saying.
