RIYADH, 28 December — More than 408,000 people used the King Fahd Causeway linking the Kingdom with Bahrain both ways during the 12-day Eid Al-Fitr holidays which started Dec. 12 in Saudi Arabia, compared to last year’s 191,000. Saudi holidaymakers have been shunning the United States and Europe and opting for Muslim and Arab destinations since the Sept. 11 terror attacks in New York and Washington.
