RIYADH, 4 January 2003 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd has sent a cable of condolences to Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad ibn Khalifa Al-Thani on the death of his uncle, Sheikh Nasir ibn Hamad Al-Thani. Similar cables were also sent by Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, and Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation. (SPA)
