RIYADH, 1 September 2005 — A study conducted by the higher authority for tourism revealed that Saudi cities, especially Abha, need 129,000 hotel rooms and 74, 000 apartments to absorb the large number of growing tourists. The same study expected that the revenue from tourism is expected to rise to SR101 billion in year 2020.
