“Secret Millionaire’s Club” kicked off Saturday’s Berkshire Hathaway shareholders meeting. The new animated series is inspired by the teachings of billionaire investor Warren Buffett. Secret Millionaire’s Club () teaches kids financial literacy through webisodes, online games and other activities. Kids will also have the opportunity to interact directly with Buffett via the “Ask Warren” feature. “I’m pleased to have the opportunity to share what financial knowledge I have with young people,” said Buffett. “It’s important that children become knowledgeable about finances and understand the value of basic business skills. ‘Secret Millionaire’s Club’ is an entertaining way to reach out to young people with these important life lessons.” In Secret Millionaire’s Club, Buffett, who lends his voice to his character, plays the mentor to a group of kids who learn about business and how the world around them works through Buffett’s teachings. Together, they explore concepts such as supply and demand, the importance of location, pursuing your dreams, learning to question and listen, the difference between looking versus seeing, and understanding the best investment you can make is in yourself.
