Jenner appears on the E! reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and manages the careers of her daughters Khloe, Kourtney and Kim. She is also set to serve as a guest co-host on CBS’ daytime show “The Talk” this fall.
“I hope a little bit of my own personality and the way that I am with my family is the same thing I am going to bring to ‘The Talk’ — as a mother and a wife and a businesswoman and a friend and all those things,” Jenner said in an interview Wednesday night at a party for the Kardashian Kollection at Sears.
Jenner said it was natural for her three older daughters to launch a clothing line.
“I like to build things and to create something out of nothing and have it be successful. This is an example here tonight that Kim and I dreamed about,” she said. “It is about setting goals.”
Besides guiding her family’s careers, Jenner has written a memoir, “Kris Jenner ... And All Things Kardashian,” set for release in November.
“I wanted to do a business book, but I wanted to get my memoir out of the way. Tell my story. This is what my thing is. This is how I grew up. My first marriage (to the late attorney Robert Kardashian) into my second marriage (to former Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner), kids and my journey through all of that. I think you will be really surprised,” she said. “I had two very distinct, separate lives.”
